Charkas
The etheric
body is made up of the Chakra System, Energy Meridians, and the Aura. Think of
meridians as your blood veins for Ki. They, like our physical blood, circulate Ki
through the body and chakras. Chakras are spiritual organs.
Chakra System
There are many chakras on the body that have different functions, but there are seven major ones, usually located at or representing a physical organ.
The Crown Chakra
This one is at the top of the head. Responsible for storing and releasing mental
energies. Probably the cerebrum or pituitary gland.
The Brow Chakra
This one is located on the forehead right above the eyes. Also known as the
third eye. This represents the pineal gland. It is a major PSI storage chakra
and can actually be used to do many helpful things. When "awakened" it
is easier to see or detect energy, or even warn you of coming danger. For more
info see The
Chakras
The Throat Chakra
This one is located at the throat and represents the thyroid gland, a gland
responsible for a lot of the body's Jing. Yelling releases Ki and Jing when you
use Ki in certain techniques that require it.
The Heart Chakra
This on is located above the breast and in the center of the chest. This
represents our heart and is responsible for circulating ki through the body.
The Solar Plexus Chakra
This is around the naval. It is the center point for other people to manipulate
the energy flow in your body. Possibly represents the lungs.
The Spleen Chakra
This is in the abdominal area and house the energy for and during interactions
with others.
The Hara Chakra
This located three inches from the navel (belly button). This is the main storage
place of Ki is in our bodies and if unbalanced a lot of problems will occur.
This is where you will store your energy. The hara is also the center point of
the body's gravity and balance.
