The Sciolist

A facade of knowledge,
The mask that will unvail true ignorance
Depth,
Absent from a shallow existance

Past days spent chasing daydreams,
An idolater of the fashion plate
Hypocritical,
Waxing unlearned words on the benevolent

A lie to oneself,
Cardinal to the strength of self-image
Change,
Imperative and unlikely

Sign on
Start the rest of your days now
Leading a new life
Breaking into brilliance

Spoken word, in conversation
Hushes thoughts of you

Fury, fills me
Brings me to my knees
Once more, broken by my fate
Take me back, please, take me home
Binded

Hopeless adoration,
From wanting eyes
A mind swept,
In confusion
Binded by,
Her object's ties

Kneel down and pray, broken
He can never love you
Stay now in these thoughts you've chosen,
He will never love you
A Large Part of Life, but Nothing You'll Remember

A canopy of celestial tears,
Pushes me once again into that nightly coma.
Enveloped by visions,
Delivered by my loss of sight.
Action now is merely a reflection of thought,
Subconscious movement projected into nothingness.
Ravening for concentric meaning,
Conscious moments spent in cereberal residue.
If recalled at all,
By time and inherent routine.
Leaves of Antiquity

As those who have come before this season,
These leaves will fall and bring life
Birds signal this time of renewal,
Returning from a journey that we all must venture
So is the season of birth,
So is the season of passing on
For within every life contains a mourning of those who have lived before,
In this sorrow we should remember the lessons they taught
