Season's Greetings and Best Wishes for 2007

I hope this works OK . For someone who has been using computers more than 40 years, I seem to be all thumbs.

I hope this finds you well. We look forward to a word from you by any means you have available.

Where to begin? I guess with bad news. My mother died in Calgary December 31, 2005, exactly 33 years after my father died. I had my last visit in September. She had three generations at her bedside. We had a memorial service in Winnipeg.

Randi's father moved into assisted living in Delray, Florida. It actually seems to have energized him and he has new friends and new activities. We are going to see him tomorrow.

This year I turned 65 and learned all about the benefits that accrue to senior citizens, particularly health care and old age pension. Dealing with these bureaucracies has aged me several more years (it's a plot).

We are each spending six to eight hours a week on the
tennis court. Randi's doubles team just won its league so they are moving up to the next league in January. I am sailing about once a week. Randi is doing lots of Yoga. I have a winter garden. Randi is working on the landscaping.

Randi's "
Web Showcase" is doing fine. She is also actively trading exercise DVDs on EBay. By the way, she disavows any responsibilty for this website. It's mine alone. I am a rank amateur at website creation as you can see.

Our very best wishes for 2007. We vow to visit Canada and hope to see some of you. Meanwhile, if you are in the Southeast, please let us know.
