| So long I moved my eyes fixed upon the ground Never seeing the beauty of this world open all around Self contained, I could do it on my own But in the end I've felt so alone Time stops not, always moving on Looking now. Oh tell me, where has it gone? To the future, how much will there be for me? Will I truly find the way to set my soul free? Not even sure for me that which I seek I've chanced upon Love, I so want to keep A love born not, from the feelings of lust But felt in the heart, given over to trust. Her beauty I know as it comes to me through her voice But to touch her and hold her, I so want the choice To feel the passion with her body so near I'll know her Love when I kiss her my Dear. Physically alone I sit here, and think of her I will Our days together I know will come still So am I really alone as I sometimes think to myself? Or just waiting the day, till we share more of our Loves wealth. Jim Ferrell |
