Peacniks

Peaceniks, Anti-Americans and the anti-war crowd

People who agitate for peace over all else play into the hands of the repressors in other countries. And so while they exercize their rights to speech and press and religion others suffer horribly. What makes these peaceniks think they have more rights than others to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

More importantly, what is their solution to ending the terror inflicted by despots? To merely talk endlessly with the despot is absurd. Would a peacenik watch someone on the street near them get beaten and then say to the attacker, "well, let us talk about it."?

Beacuse they are against violence, is their anit-war stance so strong that they would allow themselves to be beaten or repressed? No, they are the first to call for their own human rights, in a selfish disregard for the human rights of others. They are immediate in their condemnation of the United States and it's ideas if the police are called into quell their violent disruption of cities where world leaders are meeting.

The American government, through it's mighty military, has prevented more wars than started them. And we finished all the wars we joined in, for the betterment of all mankind. The USA has consistantly tried non-war methods to change the repressive regimes. Whether through economic sanctions, which the world then resents, especially as it applies to the absurdity of the Castro regime in Cuba. Or through active intervention by the CIA, other intelligence measures, through near adoption such as with the Dominican Republic, Panama and Grenada. Sure they were 'invasions' -- but one where the US military did everything it could to prevent the death of one civilian and to prevent the destruction of the infrastructure of the people.

Every country with which the United States has gone to war with has become the beneficiary of our effrots and wealth once we vanquished their dictatorial leaders. We have endeavored to develop and trade with and push for democracy and economic freedom in every country with which we went to war with or if we came close to war with. The minute the enemy country acceded to the might of the American military we have stepped in with money, business, developemnt, training, and doing everything we can to both bring that country to its senses and join us in promoting the life liberty and pursuit of happiness of individuals.

The day that North Korea collapses, a day not far off, the United States will be ready, willing and able to assist the people in getting started on the road to riches. We will do the same with Cuba. And we are going to do the same with Iraq. One could even make the case that the Vietnamese would have been better off if the North succumbed to the American war effort, because then we would have helped build a peaceful, liberty loving and hence, prosperous place. Now that the Vietnamese despots are willing to work with the United States their people are better off. If they got out of the way totally, Vietnam would be like South Korea within a decade or two.

During the regime of the Taliban in Afghanistan Americans remained the largest supplier of food and money to that country. When we finally had to go in and change the regime we went in formenting a plan of development. What we want is a country of wealth, prosperous and busy, with the government and people respecting individual rights. The people of that country are mostly on our side, it is the few powerful people who know that there days are numbered as the God-annointed leaders of their people into misery. The worst thing that could happen to a Afghani warlord is for his people to be making money, at peace with each other, within a system of reasonable laws and justice.

On the other hand, the problems are so deep and the attitudes so stubborn that we are loath to just hand over billions of dollars in what we know will be a wholesale rush to buy weapons to continue to slaughter each other in the name of God and the people.

People who argue for peace seem to not realize that they are free to do so, but that their actions, commentary and activism condemn millions of people to repression, poverty and an earth death or enslavement to the Glory of the Culture. We are going to go to war in Iraq and depose the despot becuase it is good for the people and they can't get it done themselves. We are going to move them into the modern era, just as we did with Japan and Germany after WWII. The American taxpayer is going to spend billions today so that we can launch the Iraqi people on the way to freedom and liberty and wealth so that we don't have to continue to spend billions to keep their despotic nut job from slaughtering his own people and the people of the neighboring countries.

Then we should work on Syria and Libya and North Korea. And Cuba and so many countries in Africa.

Hopefully, using Iraq and Afghanistan as demonstration projects, we can convince some of these other despots to change their ways and step aside.

The peaceniks sit all safe and sound in their coffee shops and drive their new SUV's while leaving millions to suffer all because they think that "war" in and of itself is what is being waged. America is not going to war to get land, or oil or anything else. What we are going to war for is to get peace.

Every country we have ever gone to war with was engaged in the wholesale slaughter of neighboring peoples and repression and impoverishment of their own people for the Glory of Our Culture.

We waited to the very last minute to ever engage in war with any other countries. We waited until every other last avenue of persuasion was tried.

It's like treating a disease with every medication and therapy we can find before having to move in with surgery.

The US has always done it's best and risked it's soldier's lives to ensure the protection of the civilian populace and the cultural heritage of the country we were at war with. We purposely avoided bombing many areas of Japan so that there would be something left of the place when we were done.

We were forced into using the Atom Bomb because the despots at the head of the Japanese government were dedicated to the idea that they were going to take over any part of the world that they wanted and enslave the people there to work for the Glory of Japanese Superior Culture. Peaceniks are basically arguing that it was OK for the Japanese Government to convince its own people to fight to a suicidal death, leaving millions of both them and us dead, but that it was wrong for us to kill a few hundred thousand to prevent the slaughter of millions. We would have prefered neither action. We would have prefered open and peaceful relations with Japan. All the countries which Japan subjugated would have prefered open and peaceful relations with Japan. And what did Japan do? It invaded every where and went on a wholesale slaughter campaign to rid the region of all the non-Japanese becuase the Japanese believed that only Japanese had the right to exist.

After WWII the United States worked tirelessly to dismantle the colonial empires of France and England, Spain and Portugal. Through the UN and through the direct aid to people within these colonies the US ensured the self-determination of the vast majority of the world. We were misguided in letting the colonial powers assist in this transformation, becuase those powers, being statists, had no problem with the despots and so-called great leaders of Africa and Asia. And so the repression and corruption and wholesale plunder of nations was performed by local leaders under the watchful gaze of former repressors, plunderers and corrupt regimes in Europe. Meanwhile, Individuals suffered mightily.

The US guarantees the peace through it's military in the rest of the world. We sit in the Straits of Taiwan so that the mainland Chinese don't impose their repression on the prosperous island off its coast. We sit in South Korea so that the North Koreans don't come and slaughter the prosperity of the South. We sit in Japan so that it can never have a military to threaten anyone again, becuase the Japanese have not abandoned their belief that they are God's Chosen and the rest are heathen to be slaughtered. We sit in Europe so those crackpots don't return to the slaughter and repression which is their wont. We sit in Kosovo and Bosnia so the slaughter stops there. We patrol the seas for the safety of commerce and the prevention of invasion forces. We sit all over the world as a reminder to despots to curtail their ambitions to slaughter and plunder for the Glory of their Culture and their State.

When ever any other country has had it's military in other parts of the world it was for the sole purpose of subjegating the people, destroying the native culture and stripping the land of resources. The US has done the exact opposite. Yet we are condemned as militaristic and imperialistic.

War waged by the US has been for the liberation of people all over the world and continues to be so.

War waged by all other nations has been for conquest and materialism and theft and corruptions and death and mayhem on a huge scale. While the United States was an infant country and building peace and prosperity and freedom, the French were ruled by Napoleon who ravaged Europe, and virtually every country in Europe was subjected to the Divine Right of Kings.

If peaceniks in the US want to decry war they should look at history and the current situation and complain to the other nations of the world about the wars they wage. And they should laud the US government and military for perserving the peace. Where are the demonstrations against India and Pakistan for oppressing not only their own peoples, but threatening to anihilate each other? Where are the protestors about the treatment of Chinese individuals by its insidious Communist Party? Where are the protestors who want a free Cuba? They would be exhausted from their protests because the world is one long list of horrible countries. It is just so much easier to complain about the United States: becuase they can.

The only thing which prevents China from invading Taiwan is the US military. The only thing which prevents North Korea from going to war is the US military. Where are the peaceniks calling for peace and love between China and Taiwan? And between North and South Korea? Why is there even a North and South Korea? They are the same people with the same history, culture, language, religion -- indeed they are one people. Why two countries? One is a prosperous, and growing more so with each new dose of freedom. The other is a hellish nightmare of starvation and privation on a monumental scale. Why is no one protesting the existence of North Korea?

Libya used to try to go to war with it's neighbors, but they seem to have seen the glimpse of light which has stemmed that drive, mostly from the flash of a few well placed missiles.

The US has always dropped leaflets, done radio broadcasts and in any other way possible tried to inform the people we are at war with that we are coming, to get out of the way, and to surrender and accept life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Even before we bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima we warned the people there and the government directly that there were awful things to come if they persisted in their aberrant warlike behavior. The answer was 'we will not stop the war which we started.' Like Saddam Hussein and other despots, and would be despots, they are willing to fight to the death. Yet if we help them along toward their stated goal we are somehow at fault. Peaceniks are usually for assisted suicide for individuals, why not for despotic regimes and those who slavisly follow the leaders?

The US has usually dropped food aid and kept up all other open communications with the people and governments of the countries we went to war with. We have never done anything to prevent the feeding of the populace. On the other hand, the regular course of war by all other nations throughout all history has been one of rape and pillage and destruction and starvation and death on an enormous scale. The statist governments of the world, thinking that life is cheap and only for the annointed few, have done what they could to destroy people's every where.

And they are continuing to do so at this very moment.

In the heat of battle as the Serbians were slaughtering Bosnians and Croats the peaceniks of America and Europe and Japan were lamenting the American threats to bring war if the slaughtering didn't stop. And they complained when we wen in and stopped the slaughtering. And they lifted not a finger to help those whom were being slaughtered. But the American military and the American taxpayer rose to the challange and is, even now, doing everything we can to help these people see the light. They are refusing to do so, mostly, and only the presence of the Aemrican military is preventing the slaughtering from continuing.

Where were the peaceniks when the Danish Army stepped aside so that the Serbs could slaughter muslims by the thousands at Srebrenica? They where right there, watching and aiding and abetting the very slaughter.

And where were the peaceniks when the European Union did nothing but decry American militarism as missiles ripped through a major European city.

The peaceniks were of course complaining that the American military was preparing to go in and stop the slaughter. We listened to the world as the slaughter went on. Until finally we got fed up.

We have listend to the world about Iraq for decades, and now we are fed up.

We are getting fed up with North Korea, Syria and other potentates who are engaged in slaughter or are looking for the means to slaughter more.

The rest of the world sits with their mouths shut and permits the slaughter to continue unabated because they are all part and parcel of the same brutal statist calculus that the state will continue whether there are people or not and the Glory of the State is sacrosant, not the lives of individuals.

Meanwhile they stand up in the UN and complain about the American military and American imperialism. They are hypocrits of the first order and are cluelss about the reality of what they are saying. They are so deluded by their own beliefs even as their own citizens do everything they can to access American culture or get to America itself.
