Though generally difficult to see, the wiring connections at the fuse box are visable but splices in the original wiring was avoided.  The addition of  plugs on the new wires allowed easy plugging into the fuse panel.

The controller can be mounted anywhere in a car.  To allow easy accessability yet avoid drilling or visability, a black painted block was cut to fit tightly in the console box.  The controller mounts to the block.  A poor fitting console mounting bolt saved the final risk of cutting a hole.  The controller wiring routed through the bolt hole.  (The console has long been tightly secured with it's sufficient other mounting bolts.)

This page is not an endorsement of any of the products, just a report of a project.

I have no affiliation with any of the companies listed.
I still have a habit of reaching for the AM knobs to tune the radio.
The Secretaudio does tend to draw more current from the battery than I would like when the car is parked to hold the stations and settings memory.  As a "classic car" it may sit for long periods of time so the battery does not get charged frequently.  When parked for long periods I disconnect the battery and/or use a low power charger.
