Dedicated to Keri Gayle Maere
A land so barren of sand and rock darkness casts a shadow of stone. No home for man no home for beast no flow of water. Tree stumps stand alone But amungst this barren desolite land where no life dares not to tread A tiny flower spreads its bloom as it lifts its tiny head with petals spread and leaves asplay it smiles at this world of rock and sand And before the sun went down It's joy and laughter had spread throughout the land
Plucked like a rose by a gentle hand taken to a land beyond Chosen from a special garden your beauty lingers on No natural source of mother nature could ever compare To the natural joy, laughter and love with us you'd always share And in our darkest moments when hearts are in dispair We think of all you gave and the laughter that filled the air.
