Scott Lake is only a few miles from Tim's house and it's only one of several lakes in the area. He has a beautiful boat to use on the lakes.
Tim had just gotten a new tube for pulling behind the boat. It was great fun. If you hit the wake just right you could get it to go airbourne. When Tim pulled his dad though, he tried to be a little gentle.
There was a rock in one of the coves where you could swing out over the water on a rope. The depth finder in the boat indicated that the water in the area was 20 or more feet deep.
