Dwarkadas Velji Talpatriwala is a firm which has pioneered the manufacture and trade of TARPAULINS in India.The firm was founded in 1945 by Mr V.M.Thakkar.Mr Thakkar who pioneered the manufacturing and the trade of Tarpaulins in India.The firm hold ISI 2903 Registration (for canvas tarpaulins) and IS 7903 Registration (for HDPE Tarpaulins) in India.Throught seventies and eighties Dwarkadas Velji Talpatriwala got its products partly by out souring and partly by floating various SSIs.Even as late as 1979 this firm was 2nd largest firm in India in Tarpaulin business.In the nineties it started exporting the majority of its output.It exported to varios parts of the world- USA , EUROPE , FRANCE , DUBAI , KOREA - under the name of 1)DUCK TARPAULINS & 2)DUCK LAMIPLAST

Plastic tarpaulins today is mainly manufactured by Korea , China , Malaysia and presently
by India.In India plastic manufacturing started way back in 1973. We are proud to be the pioneers in manufacturing plastic tarpaulins in India when our company M/s Dwarkadas Velji Talpatriwala started 50 years ago who got the IS 7903 mark for first time in India and our being the first company the N.G.O's / refugee organization (UNHCR) have patronized imports from our country.In the past 50 years we have earned reputation both in India as well as abroad as reputed suppliers of tarpaulin.
