The John Daly Story
"from rags to mullet to riches to no mullet, thus back to rags"
John Daly was born a poor boy, rather like Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory. He grew up in a world of poverty where his grandparents had to share their bed together, have sex together, urinate together because thats what they were used to, thats what they had to put with during the war and thats what they enjoyed.
However unlike Charlie he never found a golden ticket and looked destined to become a worthless simpleton. That was until 1985 when John discovered a meaning to his life, John grew a mullet.
This mullet was mysical as it gave John new powers he never knew existed. It gave him the power to excel in bad sport such as Darts, Snooker, Pool and his chosen career Golf.

This picture is probably THE picture which defines John's days of mulletology. Look how the beautifully kept back strands of mullet glide through the air as John unleashes another titanic drive up the green. It is a true pleasure to see this kind of mullet in action.
This new found faith catapulted John to the highest arena of the Golf world, winning the 1993 World Masters. It was an amazing turn of events and amazing how he maintained such a haircut well into the ninties. Look how the warrior-esque cut attracts the wife who just can not help herself.However John was soon to go the way of the dark side.......
John became an outcast, the mullet was taking him over, forcing him to beat his wife and even at one time making him contemplate moving to the deep south of America and joining the Klu Klux Klan and their mulleted masses. John was operated on in 1998 where after 5 hours in surgery his affliction was removed. However his life could never be the same again......
