On the morning of July 27, 2002, Barbara and I were married at the Marriott Hotel and Tennis club in Newport Beach, California. It was a beautiful day, with the sun burning through the marine layer not 5 minutes before the ceremony began. Our reception was held on the top floor of the Marriott in "The View" restaurant, overlooking all of Newport Beach and Balboa peninsula.
Our Rehearsal dinner was held at the Chart house restaurant the evening before, on the cliffs overlooking Dana Point Harbor, and we followed the wedding day with a Sunday pool and barbeque party at my parent's house in Tustin.
Although the "real" honeymoon will be an 11 day Carribean cruise in late October, we disappeared to Las Vegas the evening of the barbeque, and spent 3 days and nights at the Luxor hotel.
We saw Tony and Tina's Italian wedding at the Rio hotel (many thanks to Tom and Barb Wojciechowski!), and then "The Blue Man Group" (Highly Recommended!) at the Luxor. We spent a few hours by the Luxor pool in the 106 degree heat, and spent MANY hours in the air-conditioned casinos.
