In January of 2005, Alicia and I met in a trigonometry class we had taken together at Baker College. We had been given a "take home test" to do over the weekend. I got to class early and noticed Alicia, the girl who usually sat behind me, sitting there in the student center. We looked over each other's tests, and both changed a couple answers. It seemed that the problems she had gotten wrong, I had gotten right, and vice versa. We continued to study together afterwards. Thanks to Alicia, I passed the class with an A! What began as a friendship soon turned into a wonderful relationship. After several dates of bowling, movies, a Detroit Tigers game, and dinner, she finally kissed me! I proposed to her on December 10th 2005 at Crossroads Village and we were married June 24th 2006.
Alicia is more than just my wife, she is also my best friend. We enjoy spending time together, and share many hobbies together. In our spare time, we both enjoy swimming, playing tennis, bicycling, and taking our dog Daisy for walks. We also enjoy spending time with our families.
Alicia graduated from Baker College in June, 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting. She enjoys working with Children, and is currently employed by the City of Lapeer as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. I am still attending college at Baker in Flint, while working at Applegate Chevrolet as a Service Advisor/Dispatcher. I enjoy my job, and hope to have finished my degree soon. |
