| Jimmy Fallon was born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, NY. He has a sister and mom both named Gloria and his dad is also named Jim. He co-wrote a book with his sister "I Hate This Place: A Pessimist's Guide to Life". When he was 17, Jimmy won a "best impressionist" contest. Later, he joined the SNL cast as a featured player in the 1998-1999 season. It was a dream come true. In the 1999-2000 season Jimmy became a reperatory cast member and in the 2000-2001 season Jimmy became a co-anchor on Weekend Update along side Tina Fey. About one year ago Jimmy was in Almost Famous playing Dennis Hope the manager. In the summer of 2001 he co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards with Kirsten Dunst. This september he will be 27 years old and will have a small part in an HBO miniseries Band of Brothers. |
