A Bit More About ME
Clearly, my favorite sports team of all time, much to the dismay of my dad (and my friend Jill) who tried desperately to bring me up as a Mets fan. But he was a real trouper. Growing up, he took me to all of the Yankees' games and I think I may have converted him!

I had the privilege to lend my assistance to VLA during a sabbatical program offered by my company, Shearman & Sterling. The experience was incredible. I worked the phone lines, giving basic assistance to artists and performers as well as meeting with various artists in-house. In one situation, I spoke with a man who was about to lose his theatre space and force the closing of his theatre. I was able to intervene and solve the problem. As a result of my rapport with this gentlemen, I eventually auditioned for a part in a play at his theatre and had my debut off-off(-off) broadway in Everyman. My efforts were acknowleged in S&S' ProActive Newletter distributed worldwide to S&S offices as well as to all their clients.

Well, maybe next year ... but regardless, they are still my team. Go Allan, Go Latrell!
Soccer, or Football as it's known to the rest of world, is one of my favorite sports. I love both the Brasil and Italian teams, it's sort of like being both a Yankees and Red Sox fan (which I am). I remember back in 1994, when I was living in Miami, these two teams came head-to-head. I was in a bar on Miami Beach where everyone but me was rooting for Brasil. Boy did I have slink out of there when Brasil won (on penalties, may I add). Now when will the U.S. get their act together?

I am an unabashed LIBERAL DEMOCRAT. Though I am disturbed by the tragic events of September 11, 2001, I have grown more disturbed by the EROSION of our personal liberties all in the name of freedom. This is as illogical as this administration can get. How do we fight to "preserve our freedom" while this government continues to hack away at the very foundation this Country and its Constitution was established upon? The bullying tactics that Mr. Bush continues to assert upon the rest of the world does not make us stronger but feeds into the growth of negative sentiment against us. "Big Brother" has not arrived, but has fully grown up and not only is trying to pummel the world but pulverize the free will of its citizenry. With all this said, I must state my disappointment of the Democratic Party. For some reason, beyond my understanding, it has rolled over and played dead. Rather than challenging this President and Congress, it acquiesces to nearly every whim. Maybe it is time for a new party to emerge and restore to us our real freedom and regain the respect of the world. We are ONE WORLD, ONE HUMANITY. We are all BROTHERS & SISTERS regardless of color, creed, sex or sexual orientation. STOP THE HATE.
Speak up ... protect yourself and all of our rights. Unless our voices are heard, we will wake up in a complete police state and will be no better than the fascist doctrines that we've supposedly fought to rid this world of. Click on the above banner to get involved, be heard.
