A Day in the Death of Joe Egg American Airlines Theatre April 12, 2003 I was pleasantly surprised by this new revival of Peter Nichols' 1968 dark comedy. This is the Roundabout's 2nd rival (first revived in 1985). The chemistry bewteen Victoria Hamilton and Eddie Izzard was incredible. Much to my surprise, this show was entirely scripted though you would swear half of it was improvised. 10 year old Madeline Martin was amazing as Joe and the cast was well rounded off by solid performances from Michael Gaston, Margaret Colin and Dana Ivey (luv her). Art truly imitates life as I would swear I've had the same doctors as Josephine. See the show if you want to know what I'm talking about (or email me [email protected] and/or sign the GUEST BOOK on my index page). |
