| Did you know that the Federal Reserve Banks are not part of the government. They are privately run corporations. They really don't qualify as banks and they have no reserves. They have managed to suck the wealth out of this country and turn it from the wealthiest nation in histroy to the most indebted nation in history. You can log on to the Fed's website or even call their phone number and get an employee to verify it. I did. The Federal Reserve Banks were created by the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. It was passed on December 23, 1913. I'm sure that there were a lot of Congressman still in Washington so close to Christmas Day. Right. Apparently there was an error in the parliamentary procedure and the legislature had not properly conveened their previous meeting. Normally, the group of men that were present on December 23, 1913, would not have been able to pass legislation. They could only do basic things in other words. Well since the last meeting had not been properly adjourned, this gave them the authority to go ahead and vote on the bill.
