Well, that's me up there. Good ol' Mike Higgins. Born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas. My life started back on the 10th of October back in 1983, a splendid year if I do say so myself, and so and so years later, here I am, trying to establish myself in my hometown as a local force in music.

I am completely unaware of my music style, it's just me and my acoustic guitar, but I find that I've been influenced heavily by certain artists. Big inspirations are the Beatles, Beck, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, a bunch of other late 60's and early 90's artists, the White Stripes, and many local artists, including but not limited to Austin Meek, Greg LaFollette, the Clap, In Transit, and The Rest of Us. My music is very basic, not a lot of flare, just a lot of song, and hopefully, my music will be well accepted by the world and I will become a huge star.

Oh yeah, I also attend Kansas State University, majoring in Math and Statistics. Great fun. But as for the link between math and music, I don't believe it's as strong of a connection. You can have the most calculated, splended, beautiful song on paper, but without a heart behind the words, It's worthless.

The end.
