Deep in my heart is a vague memory
of a long ago life you shared with me

No other woman has what you do -
the key to my heart and I share it with you

You have much more beauty than a summer sunrise
and I see it each time I gaze into your brown eyes

You are the lilly of my valley, my bright morning star
And I will always love you just the way that you are

My heart starts to murmur when I look at you
singing melodies of wonder of a love so true

Inside a small acorn is a pattern we know
from which one day a mighty oak will grow

When we first met you planted a seed
the pattern of which fulfills my every need

You are a lovely lady with a demeanor so sweet
as long as you are with me I know I am complete

To think of our pattern sends chills down my spine
and I treasure each moment until the end of time
