and thought I knew how

petal
and moist like the dew.
What was this feeling
I was having with

A shock like
electricity
shot through my mind,
I think our hearts melted
into one
of a kind.
We each had a
hunger
that was being set free
and from that moment on
I knew you were
for me.
I intend to love
you
one day at a time.
For the rest of our lives
please say you will be
mine.
If in death I should
go
and leave you behind,
I'll wait around in heaven
until your soul
joins mine.
