In Your Hands

I am so attached

to a lady I know

She is a beautiful thing

with a heavenly glow

She has my heart

in the palm of her hand

Without her I am like

a beach without sand

There are so many things

I would like to give her today

So many things that

that I would like to say

I love to just touch her

and have her near

and whisper sweet words

of love in her ear

For many long years

I never knew love

then she came to me

as from heaven above

Each morning and night

when I go to pray

I ask God to help me

show I love her today
