Two little girls
lie side by side
telling secrets, they confide.
One of these days we will too.
I'll get to tell secrets to you.
I have some things on my mind.
Perhaps one day we can find
time to just lounge and be
like these two girls, innocently
telling things between the two.
I'd like to say I love you
and it would be nice to hear it too,
especially if it came from you.
Makes me wonder what is on their mind,
perhaps it is something we can find.
Get our innocence back again
like we had way back when
we had not a worry nor a care
just lots of love that we did share.
Maybe one day lets not hurry,
nor let anything make us worry.
Then perhaps we can be
just you and me
living in our worlds
like these two little girls
