True Beauty
I searched to find a rose for you
but none were pretty enough to do
Some were young and not mature
Some were wilted and not so pure
Then I saw a pink one in a field
Beauty soon to be revealed
So I brought it home with me
Nurtured it and now you can see
Just what true beauty was inside
waiting to show itself in pride
So, let me present this rose to you
to express the love I have for you
