If I never see tomorrow

Ive had you today

You have made my life worth living

and someday I will repay

You picked me up when I was down

and gave your love to me

How it worked I do not know

but, it is plain for anyone to see

There was a time I loved no more

and never expected to again

Then one day you touched my soul

and I felt a new love begin

How you did it when no one could

I guess I will never know

Was it your gentle touch or

some kindness you did show

Perhaps it was some thoughtful word

you uttered late one night

that changed my life forever

and straightened out my sight

So, if I never see tomorrow

I've had you today
