NEWS FROM JIMINY

Well here we are in October all ready. The show season has started and we have six foals on the ground and a couple more to go. So far we are happy with the drop and Gina is looking forward to a good nights sleep when it is all over. By the way we are still waiting for foals from Cookie and Mandy, two of our favourites. STOP PRESS. Mandy had a black and white colt and Cookie the prettiest little taffy filly!

GEELONG ROYAL SHOW. We went to the Geelong show last weekend and enjoyed ourselves as usual. It did seem that numbers were down and perhaps petrol prices are having an effect. Cessie, our protegee, took her new pony Dunmovin Lodge PLayboy in the gelding classes and her first child handler class and distinguished herself by winning Reserve Champion Gelding and her handler event. Her grin was a mile wide! Interestingly enough Playboy is out of one of our favourite mares, Chandglen Princess, who now resides at Dunmovin and has produced a lovely foal for them this year.

Don't forget we still have a few ponies for sale to reach our ideal number (see these on the for sale page) so don't miss out on a bargain.

Regards to all Gina and Bev.Below are two photos of our new stars, Cessie and her brother Cris with Playboy(seamus)
