a fireman and hobbyist
sax player.
In 1990 an
overzealous
repairman
cooked
the lacquer
on several keys
by applying
too much heat
to spread the
pad cement.
This lacquer
damage is
evident on
5 or 6 keys,
the worst ones being the low D,
C# & B
shown in the
adjacent photo.
