OVERVIEW OF THE COMPUTER APPLICTION TEST

The test will consist of five parts: Windows (Program and File Management), Word Processing, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Internet. Each component of the test will account for 20 points or 20% of the total test score.

The test is designed to show your skills using Windows, a word processor, a spreadsheet, a presentation program, and the Internet. Please follow the step-by-step instructions under each part of the test. The only part that needs to be completed in order is Part 1, Windows. For any other part of the test, order is not important.
After completing the test you should have a good idea about your skills and how they compare to a typical student who has completed the Introduction to Computer Applications Class UEBC 105.

Good Luck!
