Sherer Services Set Here Tuesday

  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 for Mrs. Jennie Sherer, 48, of Wiley, a county resident since 1911 who died Sunday at Prowers Medical Center.
  Survives include her children Albert K. Sherer of Wiley, Mrs. Frank Eddleman of Napa, Calif., Mrs. Ann Crow of Mulvane Kan., Mrs. Lucy Fowler of Wiley, John A. Sherer of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Vera Johnson of Lamar, Mrs. Betty Jane Bertalotto of La Junta; one sister, Mrs. Emma Peacock, Crawford; two brothers, Roy Minder of Glenwood, Iowa, and Fred Minder of West Los Angeles, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
  Services will be in Calvary Baptist Church, Rev. Ray Allen officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery; Dolsen Mortuary in charge.

Funeral Services L. C. Sherer, 60, Saturday, 2:00 P.M.

  Funeral services for Lee Clifford Sherer, 60, resident of Prowers county since 1915 will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Kirkpatrick-Duggan chapel. Rev. R. M. Beard, pastor of the local Christain church will officiate.
  Sherer, a rancher and stockman, died at his home 17 miles southwest of Lamar early Thursday morning following a months illness. His survivers are his wife, Jennie Sherer, and five daughters, Mrs. Frank Eddleman. Sallie Anne Sherer, Lucy Rose Sherer, Vera Gwendalyn Sherer, Betty Jane Sherer, and two sons Albert K. Sherer and John Anderson Sherer all of Lamar. A brother, Clarence Sherer, of Ozark, Mo., also survives.
