| GERRY---James Edward Gerry, age 92, 2605 Hampton Place, passed away Tusday, July 6, Mr. Gerry was born in Iowa, was a 65 year resident of this city, and was a moulder before retiring. He is survived by four sons, Virgil H., Criss E., and Archie M., all of this city; Walter H. of Burlington, and five grandchildren. Private Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Max K. Oliphant today, July 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of the JONES FUNERAL HOME. |
| Rites for Mrs. Gerry To Be Held Tuesday Funeral services will be held at the Homer Mark mortuary Tuesday at 2 p. m. for Mrs. Lilly Gerry, who died late Saturday at her home, 1507 Mckenzie avenue, aged 46 years. The Rev. O. A. Quall will officate. Mrs. Gerry was a member of the Babtist church in Sac, Iowa, and of the Lowell Parent-Teacher association. She is survived by her husband Ed Gerry; four sons, Walter H., Virgil H., Criss E., and Archie M., all of Bellingham; two brothers Roy Minder, LaMarr, Colo., and Fred Minder, Los Angeles. She is also survived by five sisters. | Gerry ---- Mrs. Lillian Gerry, aged 46 years, beloved wife of Ed Gerry and mother of Walter E., Virgil H., Criss E., and Archie M. Gerry, 1506 McKenzie avenue, passed away at the family home Saturday afternoon, February 1, after a brief illness. Other surviving relatives are her mother, Mrs. S. E. McClintock, and five sisters, Mrs. Emma Wilson, Mrs. Jennie Shearer, Mrs. Clara Moll, Mrs. Susie Metcalf and Mrs. Nettie, all of LaMarr, Colo. Mrs. Gerry two brothers Fred Minder, of Los Angeles, Cal, and Roy Minder, LaMarr, Colo. Mrs. Gerry was a member of the first Babtist church in Sac Ciry, Iowa, and resided in Bellingham for the past twenty-four years. The body rests at the Homer Mark Mortuary, from where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, February 4, at 2 o'clock; with Rev. O. A. Quall, pastor of the Fairhaven Methodist church, offciating. Interment will be made in the family plot in Woodlawn cemetery. ------------------------- Feb 2, 1930 |
