Funeral Sunday


  Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie E. McClintock, who passed away 4 o'clock Saturday morning at Glenwood, Iowa, were held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Riverside cemetery. Rev. Harold Pearson officiating.
  Pallbearers where T. S. Jarvis, George Pearson, Thomas Moore, George Lingie, William Settle and V. E. Adams.
  Arrangements were in charge of Kirkpatrick Duggan.
  Sallie E. Wilcox daugther of Lucy Rose Churchill and Walter M. Wilcox was born Sept 23, 1866, at LaCrosse, Wis. She was united in marriage to Fred Minder at Sac City, Iowa, Oct 10, 1882. To this union ten children were born, five preceding her in death, namely Lillie Gerry, Clara Mall, Nellie Minder, Susie Metcalf,  and Roy Minder. Those who survive are Nettie Lutz of Claremore, Okla.; Emma Peacock of Lamar; Jennie Sherer of Lamar; Fred Minder of Los Angeles anf Roy Minder of Glenwood, Iowa. Also there survive 35 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren as well as many other relatives.
  Mr. Minder preceded her in death March, 1917.
  She was married to Alexander McClintock Oct., 1919. He preceded her in death in 1935.
  Mrs. McClintock moved from Lamar with her son, Roy to Taber, Ia., from Taber to Glenwood, Ia. in 1937. She made her home in Glenwood till passing from this life Sept 19, 1947 at 4 o'clock in the morning at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 26 days.
  She attended the Church of Nazarene as long as her health permitted.
  She was a loving mother and friend and a faithfull believer in her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She will be missed by her family and host of friends in Glenwood.
