Jim is a pro-musician with experience touring, video and album promotions. Jim writes and records his own material. He plays electric/acoustic guitars, piano and violin. His original material ranges from Folk, Blues, Rock to Classical, Flamenco, Celtic, World, New Age and Jazz. He enjoys helping other musicians with their projects. While promoting, Jim worked with producer Aubrey Oliver who has managed Jose Feliciano. He was recently offered a recording contract and a small part in a film in which he passed on both. Before Jim was a professional musician he was a self-employed building contractor in which he did tile refinishing. He managed to incorporate this skill into his entertainment work. Jim refinished a hard-wood floor in an abandoned bank building overnight, in which was used for a Jennifer Pena music video; upon doing this he had the pleasure of working with director of photography and owner of Dept.13 Films, Gilbert Aguirre. Gilbert has written and produced various music videos/movies. He is currently working on a lounge project called "Premium Blend" with pianist Sachi Kawakami and freelance violinists. When he is not performing or writing he enjoys offering guitar instruction and other interests in the entertainment industry. |
