Jimbo barely avoided being overtaken by an advancing glacier last month during a mountain outing. Jimbo dove to the side as the glacier came up behind him. "I just turned around and suddenly saw the huge mass of ice behind me," he said. "I jumped out of the way at the last second. I�m still shaken up about it." The glacier was moving about a half an inch each day. "If I hadn�t jumped out of the way, that glacier would have entombed me in ice in another month or so," Jimbo said. Jimbo suffered a minor bruise on his elbow in the event.
