This is what we saw in California, July 2000

Here's Brigit and Judy, watching(?) a Giants baseball game at the new PacBell stadium in San Francisco.
Here's Brigit taking Mom & Dad to the Top of the Mark in San Francisco, so we can sip our martinis as we look across the Bay at Alcatraz Island. Just a few years earlier (1955, we think), Army Captain Larry Kavanagh returned from his MASH unit in Korea and took his wife Yvonne to the same Top of the Mark for dinner.
While in San Francisco, we got to meet Howard and Joan Jaffe. Howard is Eric's Dad. Here's Howard and Joan, sitting with Brigit and Eric, just prior to taking Larry and Judy out to a fabulous dinner at "Rose Pistola."
While at "Rose Pistola," Brigit and Judy posed for this mother-daughter pic.
Also in San Francisco, we found the cartoon museum. Need we say more?
We had to see some redwood trees! How's this for size?
While in the park with the redwoods, we found this waterfall. Larry and Brigit are trying not to fall in the water.
Here we have Brigit and Eric posed against a typical (ho hum) California background.
Not to be outdone, Larry and Judy can pose against California backgrounds, too.
The Bed&Breakfast we stayed in Carmel was a real charmer. Here's Brigit and Eric having breakfast in a floral arcade.
