I was looking for a inexpesive way to have running lights without spending lots of money so for 65 bucks I made it!
First off I ordered 2- 50W Halogen marker lights shipped to my door was $44.00. There are a ton of different ways to mount it. You can get a Light bar for 20 bucks or you can put them on your forks. Since I have a windshield and lowers there does not leave much room. So for right not I mounted them to the windshield. with quick disconnects wires incase I remove the shield.
I took of the Tank and seat for easy access. I attached the In-Line Fuse and ran the Main wire up along the frame and Zip tied it down Did the same with the Neg wire.
Basicly if you follow the wiring diag you should have no issues but you should use a relay or a switch.
My 2000 ACE the Wight wire in the headlight was for the LOW beam (I wanted these light on all the time) So I connected the Relay into this wire.
INFO: Do Not just tie in your lights to existing wires, always run new wires. I am using the existing wire to run only the relay. The new wire I ran from the battery is the main power for the new lights. I did it this way instead of a switch because I don't want to forget to turn off a light and drain the battery. Also when you start the bike all the lights go out as to not drain the battery

Installed the In-Line fuse close to the battery, with all of the connections I used heat shrink tubing incase it gets wet.
(Notice in the reflection my orange cone so the wife does not run into the bike)
