He took hold of her hand and squeezed it gently as she stood next to him
�You look beautiful� he whispered �I love you�
�I love you too�.nothing can make me happier than today possible can�
They smiled at the registrar, signalling that they were ready to begin the ceremony and that moment had finally arrived, the chance to wipe away the pain and hurt of the past 18 months and start their new life.
�On behalf of Jim and June I would like to welcome you all here to witness their marriage and the commitment that they are going to make to each other today� said the registrar
Clapping and cheering broke out around the room as Jim and June kissed passionately as the registrar announced them man and wife
�You are stuck with me forever now Mrs Carver�
�Good I�m not planning on going anywhere without you� she placed her hands on his face �this is where life begins�
Jim stood up as Tony sat back down and the applause stopped
�First of all on behalf of my wife and I, I would like to thank you all for the support you have given us over the past few months, we have been so grateful for the compassion you have shown us. The events of this time could have change our lives in so many ways, a situation which could have ruined Tony�s, June�s and my life but instead it has given us the chance to put so many things right and repair some battered friendships� He looked at Tony �Tony, we�ve been through some rough times over the past few years but I am glad that we have been able to but the past behind us, today would not have been the same without you as my best man�..I would like to make a toast, to friendship� said Jim raising his glass
�Friendship� echoed around the room
�I�ve spent the past few days� Jim continued �Trying to find the words to express and describe how I feel about this fantastic woman who is sat beside me here, but I have struggled as there are not enough words to do that�.I spent over 18 years waiting for June to tell me that she loved me like I loved her and only then did I discover that we had both been in love with each other since June had puppy walked me in 1983. As soon as I saw her I was in ore of this beautiful and confident woman�.I�m not trying to embarrass her but this is one of the rare occasions that she cannot pull rank on me or make me sleep on the sofa�
�Be careful Jim you might have a lonely wedding night� heckled Smithy
�I had not thought of that' Jim laughed as everyone else did �I am going to have to watch what I say�.going back to 1983 June was the most beautiful person I had ever met and she is even more beautiful now�.you all know that our relationship has not been a smooth one and were shocked when we announced that we were getting married, to be honest both June and I were as well���when you watch the person you love fight for their life it makes you realise how precious things are to you, how short life can be and how you sometimes you never get the chance to fulfil your dreams�..but I am the lucky one, I got the chance to achieve my dream, but I have to say that dreaming is over rated and real life is much better� He looked down to June and their eyes locked together �June I love you more than life its self, without you my life falls apart, you are my rock, my world and no that you are my wife I am finally complete�
June took hold of Jim�s hand, stood up and wiped the tears that were rolled down his cheek
�You soppy git, I love you too� they kissed softly and passionately
�June and Jim� Tony said as he stood and raised his glass
�What are we doing out here� June asked as Jim led her into the grounds of the hotel �It�s boiling hot and this dress is not exactly the coolest outfit to be wearing�
�I know, you look absolutely amazing, extremely beautiful and very sexy� he kissed her cheek, then her neck and ear �I wanted to give you this� he whispered
He took a small box from his jacket pocket and handed it to her
�What is it?�
�Well you wont know until you open it will you�
June smiled at him and opened the small blue box �It�s beautiful Jim� she took the locket from the box
�I saw it in the shop when I bought you engagement ring and bought it that day, It has got today�s date engraved on it, the day things became perfect�..�
She silenced him with a long passionate kiss, pulling him closer to her, her hand gripping the gold heart shaped locket tightly as his hands roamed her body
She moaned as Jim planted soft kisses her collar bone, still holding onto each other tightly
�Jim��..Jim please�
Jim stopped and looked at her �What� he said smiling �You never usually complained when I did that��in fact it was quite the opposite I recall..�
June smiled as she recalled pleasant memories �I was not complaining, we both know what is going to happen if we are not careful�
�I promised you that today would be perfect and it will be��I have got some self control��
�That is not what I meant�.I was going to suggest that we slipped off for an hour, we have got sometime before the party starts again�
�You are a wicked woman June Carver� he said with a smile as they headed back towards the hotel
Jim kissed June�s stomach as he removed her underwear, he kissed just below the scar that was still evident, the last remaining physical reminder of what had happened, what had caused the to be sharing this passionate encounter. This was the first time they had resumed their physical relationship since June�s accident, she had to wait until she had been given the all clear from the consultant and as this had only happened last week they had made the decision to leave it until today to reunite physically.
There had been a few occasions over the past few days where they had almost given in to temptation but their determination to make their wedding day extra special had kept them from crossing the line
Jim kissed his way up to June�s ear �I love you so much Mrs Carver� he whispered as he kissed her neck, he could feel her body shaking in his arms, it was if time had stood still and they had never been apart form each other, their bodies reacting to each others touch as it had done previously
�I want you so much� he said
�I know and I have never wanted you so much as I do at this moment� she smiled as she rolled her onto his back and straddled him
�Why rush things though�..this is the perfect day, and occasion to remember for ever� she kissed down his chest and moved lower
Jim moaned as June�s hands moved down towards his thigh
�Please June, I don�t think I can last much longer if you continue to tease me like that��it�s been so long�
�It�s ok my darling� she kissed him possessively before lowering herself slowly down on to him, he noticed a smile appear on her face when he was fully inside her. As she began to move slowly against him groans began to escape from Jim, she lent down to capture his lips with hers as his hands caressed her body. His hands rested on her breasts as their pace increased, their bodies moved perfectly in time.
He rolled her onto her back as he took control of the situation
�Jim�.�she gasped as her climax began to take control of her body, her breathing becoming more ragged as their pace increase again as they both became nearer to the point of ultimate bliss
June kissed Jim�s forehead as he collapsed against her chest, kissing it tenderly �I could stay here forever�
�Well unfortunately we can�t, we have a room full of people waiting for us downstairs�
�This is unfair, we have waited so long to be together, all I want is to be alone with you�
June laughed �Jim it had been 18 months since we had been together until now, surely a few more hours wont hurt�
�But I have just had a reminder of what I had been missing out on, no one effects me like you do�
�Sweet talking me wont help either James�.now considering you helped me out of that dress I am going to need you help to get back into it�
�Do you?� Jim asked raising an eyebrow �That sounds like a topic for negotiation�
Everyone clapped as June and Jim took to the dance floor as she�s the one played. Jim held June close to him and whispered into her ear, she lifted her head from his shoulder and smiled at him
�We are complete�
Cheers broke out as they kissed and continued to dance.
This was the start of a new chapter in their life, one that had taken so long to start but was going to take a life time to write
