Part 2
Jim was missing them too so much so that on Thursday night he rang June and told her not to bother bring Mia down on Friday as he was coming up to Leeds to spend time with them for a week. Marie hadn�t been happy with this plan but Jim didn�t care all he cared about was spending sometime with the two most important people in his life, June and Mia.
June reluctantly agreed to the idea, she wasn�t against it far from it but she was worried that they wouldn�t be able to control themselves.
Late Friday afternoon Jim arrived at June�s in Leeds. He was so pleased to see them both and them him. That week June had got time off work so that they could all spend time together as a family. It was a very enjoyable week for all of them, June and Jim enjoyed each others company and Mia was enjoying all the attention from her parents. They had taken Mia to the park, to the zoo, the farm and lots of other places, it was the best week June had had for a very long time, she was just sorry it was coming to an end so soon
�It�s been a brilliant week� June smiled as they both sat on the sofa together
�Yes it has, it�s a shame I have to go back tomorrow� Jim sighed
�Perhaps I should move back to Sun hill at least you would be able to take Mia out when ever you wanted�
�June I want us to be a proper family� he said as he kissed her
Jim you have to stop doing that, I am finding it very hard to stop this from going any further�
�I am sorry but I want you�
�You say that now but you return to your normal life tomorrow, you return to your wife�
�I know� Jim sighed
�Look Jim I will take up Jack�s offer of a transfer but that doesn�t mean I am going to have an affair with you, I am only doing this so that you can see Mia when you want�
�Ok� Jim beamed, he was delighted he had got over the first hurdle, he had persuaded her to return to Sun hill
The following day Jim returned to Sun Hill. He told Marie about June�s plans and she wasn�t pleased at all. June phoned Jack and accepted his offer. She decided to move immediately, so within 3 weeks June had bought a house and moved in, in Sun hill.
June had been back at Sun hill 3 days now and she had settled in brilliantly, it was just like coming home. The next problem she had to deal with was Mia�s 2nd birthday, which was on Saturday, two day�s away. June had discussed the occasion with Jim and they had both agreed that they should have a big party. June organised the party and invited all the relief and their children, June wanted this to be a day to remember.
Saturday
It was Mia�s birthday, June sat by Mia on the sofa and helped her open her card and present. She ripped the paper off the present to reveal a beautiful pink three wheel bike. Mia loved it, she got on it and started pedalling around the carpet, June looked on and smiled. There was a knock on the door, June went and answered it. It was Jim, Marie and Ben
�Morning June I am sorry it�s so early I hope you don�t mind� Jim smiled �It�s just that I was excited�
�You can say that again, I suggested an early night last night but he was too excited to do anything� Marie said
June looked to the floor she didn�t want to know about Jim and Marie�s sleeping habits.

Marie, Ben and Jim entered the living room and Jim gave Mia a big hug
�Happy birthday my precious little girl� Jim beamed
�Happy Birthday sweetheart� Marie said �Have you got a hug for me�
June watched from the door, tears came to her eyes as she watched Marie playing mummy. It was all a bit much so she slipped away into the kitchen.
�Oh there�s a beautiful bike, who gave you that then� Marie asked
�Mummy� Mia replied
�Would you like to open daddy�s presents� Marie asked
Jim was beginning to feel Marie was taking over, he had wished she hadn�t insisted on coming but she refused to let him come alone. He looked towards the door to see June but noticed she had gone.
This is all so wrong he thought, today should be me, June and Mia.
Jim came back to reality �which one would you like to open� he asked
Mia picked the biggest one, she unwrapped it and smiled, it was a big cuddly bear. The next present was a mini rocking horse and the final present was a gold locket, which had her name engraved on it. Mia soon lost interest in all the presents and got back on the bike.
June meanwhile had found herself crying in the kitchen to herself, she wiped her eyes and took some teas into the living room
�I thought you all might like some tea, there�s some squash here for you Ben�
�Thank you�
�June are you alright?� Jim asked, he had known her to long he knew when she had been crying.
�Yes fine thanks� she replied �Well Mia you�re a lucky girl�
�Show mummy what daddy and Marie bought you� Marie said
Mia wasn�t interested she just wanted to ride her bike
�Mia, I said show mummy what daddy bought you� Marie said again this time with a bit of anger in her voice
�She show me later� June chipped in
�No I said now�
�Don�t speak to her like that� June snapped
�Come on Jim I think it�s time we left, we are obviously not welcome�
�Look Marie I am sorry, it�s just that I won�t have anyone speaking to my daughter like that, there�s no need to go on my account�
�Come on Jim�
Jim followed Marie and Ben to the door �I am sorry June� he said with tears in his eyes
�You don�t have to go�
�Yes he does, he is my husband and he will do what he�s told� Marie snapped
�Daddy, daddy� Mia called
�Daddy�s going now sweetheart, he will see you later at your party�
Mia turned around and ran to June, Jim looked on sadly before leaving with tears trickling down his cheeks.
