�Well I don�t know about that, it depends what is on the menu, if it�s you then I am extremely hungry, I suppose you could be dessert�
�So I have made chocolate sponge and sauce for no reason�. Come this way Mrs Carver I have got chicken and mushroom pasta bake for main course� he led her into the dinning room
�What have I done to deserve this?� she enquired as she looked at the flowers that were on the table
�Do I need an excuse to buy my wife flowers�

Jim kissed June as he got into bed

�Gary and Ken were fast asleep and Phil was in the shower, he did come in just as I was saying I love you and wanted to be with you� He kissed her softly and deeply

June put her fingers to where Jim had put his own hand, she felt tears prick her eyes as she felt a small hard lump
�I�m sure it is just a cyst� his voice was shaking as he watched the tears roll down his wife�s face �Whatever it is June we are in this together, you need to make an appointment with the doctors�

She smiled weakly as Jim hugged her tightly
