Part one
�I�m so sorry� said Jim �I�..�
Before Jim could finish his sentence June kissed him passionately and wrapped her arms around him
�It does not matter, you are here now, how�s the ankle� she asked as she helped him through the door
�They think I�ve damaged a ligament, should be ok in a few days or so, I�m sorry that this happened and that you have been on your own this evening�
�You have nothing to be sorry for Jim, none of it was your fault�� you must be tired, it�s been a long day�
She helped him sit in a chair and removed his tie, which was draped around his neck untied as he took off his jacket
�I�ll hang these up for you� she kissed his head and waited for him to remove his waistcoat
�What would I do without you�
�You would manage� she laughed as she hung Jim�s jacket and waistcoat next to her dress
�You looked so beautiful today Mrs Carver, I am the luckiest man in the world�
�You sweet talker� she smiled as she walked back over to him �Come on you need to sleep, it�s late�
�Sleeping is the last thing on my mind at this moment in time� he pulled her down onto his lap �There is something else I would rather do at this moment in time��.you look almost as beautiful in this gown as you did in that dress, then again I bet you would look ever better out of it�
�I don�t know what you could possible mean Mr Carver� June smiled as Jim lent in and kissed her passionately
He pulled her closer into him, his whole body consumed by an aching need to have her so close to him, to remind him that a single touch from this woman could wipe away the pain, prove that nothing else apart from their relationship was important at this moment in time, that all the misery Marie had caused both today and in the past could be forgotten.
June was his forever and nothing could change that, the hospital had wanted Jim to stay overnight due to the swelling to his ankle but he was determined to return to June. Marie had robbed him of so much time with June and he was not going to allow her to take away this special night from him as well
June moaned with delight and threw her head back giving Jim access to her neck, he set about planting small soft kisses on her neck as his hand snaked up her thigh and rested on her hip, stroking her skin softly
She manoeuvred herself to straddle his lap and set about unbuttoning his shirt as Jim�s one hand continued to stroke her hip, whilst the other untied her silk gown.
They kissed as she lifted herself up so that Jim could fully remove her gown and she could gain better access to his trousers to undo them, he gasped as he felt his wife�s hand slip into his trousers, closing his eyes as felt himself reacting to Junes touch.
June�s mouth fell open and she breathed in sharply as Jim�s hand snaked down her stomach and slowly slipped under the silky material of her underwear.
She smiled at Jim as she felt his fingers pressing against her, her forehead fell against him and their eyes locked together as her body reacted to Jim�s actions they kissed slowly as groans slipped from June�s mouth and into his
�I�..love�you� she managed to gasp before throwing her head back and arched her body as she let her orgasm begin to control her body
Jim kissed her breasts as her body shook gently in his arms as June tried to calm her body with her breathing
�You have probably woken half the hotel with the noise you have just made,you know that don�t you� Jim laughed as June�s body stilled
�It�s not my fault that you know all the right things to do to get me to react is it�
�I�m only doing my duty as a husband� Jim smiled as they kissed
�I wouldn�t say you have quite done that yet�� she said smiling seductively
�You cheeky woman, I will make you wish you had not said that�

Jim attempted to stand but the pressure from both of their bodies were too much for Jim�s ankle and he cried out in pain
�Are you ok?� June was concerned by the pained expression on her husbands face �Come on lets get you into bed, hopefully you wont do anymore damage there�
�You re not going to take advantage of an injured man are you?�
�Take advantage of a injured man, never��..but taking advantage of my husband that is a different story� she said as she led Jim towards the bed
He watched her sleeping on his chest, he kissed her head softly and slipped his arm around her waist, keeping her close to him. Today had been the happiest he had ever been, the only other times he had felt elation close to this were experiences he had shared with June, he had never felt truly happy with Marie and seeing her again had just confirmed this.
He knew that despite the events of today nothing could damage the feeling he had in his heart, the warm glow he had inside knowing that the woman lying next to loved him as much as he loved her and would never do anything to hurt him intentionally, he thought back to the speech Tony had made, the words he spoke were very true.
If Tony had not knocked June over they would not have been here today, it could have been years before either of them may have had the courage to confront their feelings again, it had taken them 18 years to take the first steps of their relationship and 21 years to achieve this, although watching June go through so much pain and nearly die had broken his heart, it had all been worth it to finally make June his wife.
