The founding member, leader, bass player, chief song writer and voice of Sodom has always been Tom Angelripper, also known as Tom Such. After forming the band in 83-84, he has since become a respectable figure in the metal world, and has never abandoned his vision of unrelenting and brutal music/lyrics with Sodom. Their other line ups have changed many times, but Tom Angelripper will always be the core of Sodom.
Bobby Schottkowski

Sodom has seen many drummers come and go....hopefully Bobby is here to stay in Sodom, becasue this guy is aggressive as hell! Bobby is probably one of Sodom's more skilled drummers and writes some pretty good as well as unrelenting drum parts.

ALBUMS:
Till Death Do Us Unite
Code Red
M-16
Bernemann

Bernemann has been playing guitar with Sodom since around 1997 as well. He is in my opinion the best axeman that they have had since their classic days with Frank Blackfire. Code Red and M-16 both have their fills of heavy riffs, screeching pinch harmonics, shredding solos and aggressive guitar parts...all in part to Bernemann.

Former members
                                    Dirk Strahlimeier--gutiars 1995

Dirk played on 1995's "Masquerade in Blood". He was replaced by Bernemann.
                                  AAtomic Steif--drums 1993-1995
Formerly of the German thrash band Living Death, Atomic Steif played drums for about 2-3 years in Sodom. He was kicked out because according to Tom he was an asshole who was miserable to work with and  only cared about being a rockstar....he was just in it for the money. So its a  good thing Tom canned his ass. He was replaced by Bobby.
       Andy Brings--guitar 1992-1995
Andy replaced Micheal Hoffman after his short lived gig in the band. He played in Sodom for about 2 years and played guitar on some pretty good albums with them in the 90's.
   Micheal Hoffman--guitars 1990-1991

Micheal Hoffman gig in Sodom was pretty short lived...he replaced Frank Blackfire, before being replaced by Andy Brings.
                                             Chris "Witchhunter" Dudeck --drums 1984-1992
Chris was a founding member of Sodom and their long time drummer. He played on their classic albums in the 80's like Persecution Mania and Agent Orange as well as some of their early 90's releases. Unfortunately Chris was a heavy drinker and according to To, began showing late for practices, being an asshole to work with and so on, therefore Tom had to make the decision to kick him out of the band. He was replaced by Atomic Steif. Him and Tom are no longer speaking and hate eachother.
                      Frank Blackfire--guitars 1987-1989
Frank Blackfire played on Sodom's two landmark albums of the 80's, Persecution Mania and Agent Orange. He left soon after to join forces with Sodom's peers, the mighty Kreator, to play on Kreator's notorious 90's album "Coma of Souls".  After leaving Kreator, Frank moved to Sao Paulo Brazil, teaches guitar as well as English/German lessons, and married some hot chick.  This picture of him taken from a Kreator show in Sao Paulo recently.
           Destructor--guitars 1986
Destructor replaced Grave Violator, and recorded on Sodom's first full legnth recording. He was replaced shortly after by Blackfire and was since neverheard of again.
           Grave Violator--guitars 1984-1985
The interestingly named Grave Violator played in Sodom's earliest days, the EP In the Sign of Evil. He was an original member and was replaced by Destructor.
