Beware of ClassMates.com
Back about a year and half ago, I made the decision to join ClassMates.com because of my 30 year High School reunion. I needed help in contacting and finding alumni members so that they could come to our event. Well, after not needing ClasssMates.com anymore, I decided NOT to renew my membership. After what I thought was my last month, I noticed a charge on my credit card showing another year membership to ClassMates.com. I attempted to e-mail them, but to date, I have not received a return reply to my request to cancel my membership and to get a credit. Another strange thing that I noticed about this web site is that they DO NOT have a phone number that you can call to talk to a person about any problems that you may have. If you e-mail them, you will probably not get a reply if it concerns any charges that you feel are wrong. So be very careful what you apply to here on the internet. If they do not have a phone service, it probably would be wise to check them out more closely. If I had known that I would have had this much trouble with a company, I would not have become a member. |
