| A Rooster's Tale: A dear friend is into ceramic chicken collecting. And she saw this humongous rooster -- all of two feet -- plain in ceramic white, calling out to her one day at an arts and crafts store. Ever as perceptive, she also knew that I had just purchased an airbrush set. And being twice as smart, she knew, too, that I am on the look-out for something to practice my new "toy" on. The end-result is this "psychedelic rooster." |

| The repetitive floral patterns, plus the ornate designs that I wanted to paint were all too intimidating. So much so that I had to spend two or three days planning how to attack the project. In the end, I decided that airbrush alone would be "too wispy" and would not show the leaf and petal patterns I wanted. So the good ol' paintbrushes were called into service. |
