great accommodations! A beautiful townhouse overlooking the 18th tee of the
"General", one of 4 world class golf courses located in Eagle Ridge
resort. Everyone who has a chance should visit here . . . it's a great location.
Our
Thanksgiving feast was catered and delivered by this lovely "Pilgrim"
couple. And, what a feast it was! The food was delicious.
Clarkie
and I discovered a great local winery, Galena Cellars. Good wines, fair prices
and enjoyable atmosphere. They have tours at the vinyard as well as a great
tasting location in downtown Galena. You can visit them at www.galenacellars.com.
Galena
offers easy access to the Mississippi River. There's lots of fun activities
on the river, like fishing, Bald Eagle watching, and River Boat Gambling and
dinner cruises.
