| This is a tribute to a man who touched my life deeply. Dr Frederick Lenz, called Rama by his students, taught meditation, mysticism and Buddhism in America for nearly 30 years. Rama taught me that life is what we make it. He taught me that spiritual development occurs because of our own self effort. I learned that my ideas of the way things should be will always hold me back. But most of all, he taught me to hold my mind on a single point until there was noting but the point...and then let go. That is meditation. That is freedom. Freedom from the thoughts and ideas that confine us to a mundane world. Thank you Rama. Namaste |
