This is the last Will and Testament of me
John Westlake of number 130 Saint Dunstans Road, Burdett
Road, Bow Common Lane in the County of Middlesex, Metal Refiner,
Brass Founder and Nautical Instrument Maker.
In the first place I direct that all my debts and funeral and
testamentary expenses shall be fully paid and satisfied as soon
as may be after my decease.
I appoint my friends Henry Abraham Fordham of number 92
Morning Lane, Hackney in the said county of Middlesex, Rick Cloth
and Blind Manufacturer and William Ardley of number 97
Campbell Road, Bow in the same County, Carman to be the Executors
and Trustees of this my will.
I give devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate and
property of every kind and description whatsoever and wheresoever
of which I shall be seized or possessed or over which I shall
have any disposing power at the time of my decease unto and to
the use of the said Henry Abraham Fordham and William
Ardley and the survivor of them his heirs executors and administrators
upon trust as soon after my decease as they or he shall in their
or his absolute discretion consider advisable and expedient to
sell call in and convert into money the same or such part or
parts therof as shall not consist of money and with and out of
the monies produced by such sale calling in and conversion and
with and out of my ready money to pay the costs and expenses
incurred in carrying out and effecting such sale calling in and
conversion and of and incident thereto and also to pay my said
debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and then to pay over
the residue of the said monies which shall then remain in their
hands unto my wife Sarah
Elizabeth Westlake for her sole and separate absolute use
and benefit and I hereby revoke all wills and testamentary dispositions
by me at anytime heretofore made and do declare this to be my
last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said John Westlake the testator
have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of April One Thousand
Eight Hundred and Ninty - John Westlake - signed and declared
by the said John Westlake the testator as and for his
last will and testament in the presence of us present at the
same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

- Horace John Darnell 218 Burdett Road Colonial Sampler.
On the 9th September 1890 Probate of this will was granted to
Henry Abraham Fordham and William Ardley the Executors.

9th September 1890. The Will of John Westlake late of
130 St Dunstan's Road/Burdett Road/Bow Common Lane in the County
of Middlesex, Metal Refiner, Brass Founder and Nautical Instrument
Maker who died 1st August 1890 at 130 St Dunstan's Road was proved
at the Principal Registry by Henry Abraham Fordham of
92 Morning Lane, Hackney in the said County, Rick Cloth and Blind
Manufacturer and William Ardley of 97 Campbell Road, Bow
in the said County, Carman, the Executors. Personal Estate £600. |
