A dream of mine finally came true....our own historic farm!
We are enjoying our farm and wonderful neighbors. The horses and dogs are enjoying the old fashioned farm and acres of pasture.
Our historic farm was previously known as Riverway Jerseys and was a well known jersey farm. The Wolf River is across the field behind the farm which probably was a reason it was named so. After giving this much thought, we decided to continue with this farm name but modify it slightly to Riverway Farm. Our previous location was known as Irish Acres. The sounds of my favorite bird, the sandhill crane, can be heard nearby. This sound never ceases to amaze me. The beauty of nature is abundant in Shiocton! In the spring, sturgeon can be viewed spawning at Bamboo Bend. Herds of deer are in the area and are a sight to behold. In the spring and fall , Tundra swans and geese can be heard and seen in nearby fields. We truly are enjoying life in our small friendly town.
We are located in the Fox Valley area near Appleton and Green Bay. Appleton is approximately 17 miles from our farm.
