Today you will be learning about heroes of the Holocaust. You will visit a website that introduces people who risked their lives to save others. Follow the path given below, and anwser any questions on a seperate sheet of paper.
1. Visit the website http://fcit.coedu.usf.edu/holocaust/people/rescuer/htm
Here you will find links to many heroes. Browse through these until you find one that is interesting.
2. Read the story about the hero you have chosen. Answer the following questions
a. Who is your Holocaust Hero?
b. Where did they live?
c. What did they do?
d. Who did they save?
f. How did they do it?
e. Why did the hero do this?
f. Did they ever get caught?
g. Where are they now?
You may not be able to anwser all of these questions, but do your best!
3. Now, visit another website. You can choose between Oscar Schindler and Raould Wallenberg. These are both famous Holocaust Heroes. Anwser the following questions
h. Who did you choose?
i. What did they do?
j. How did they do it?
k. How is this person different from the one you researched earlier?
l. How are they the same?
-You can use a venn diagram to anwser k and l.
