| Summersville, MT - The students at Sommerset School finally had their first prom last Saturday. Sommerset, which is for the mentally challenged, was filled with excitement since last April, when the school first learned that the state would fund a dance for the students. Woody Hoose, proud parent of Mike Opalek (pictured right with date, Jill Uehara), said that he was glad to see those "special people" having "special fun". The dance opened with Chris Burke (known for his role as Corky on the television show Life Goes On) singing his rendition of Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All. |
