Hot Water Beaches.  Nothing like them.  Dig yourself a pit in the sand.  The hot springs come in, the cold ocean comes in, and it's just darn perfect. 

I took this picture while walking down the side of a rather steep hill in an attempt to reach Cathedral Cove.  I did in fact make it, with the aid of the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic team.  Thanks you guys.  I had a blast.  Unfortunatly the pictures of the Cove are in storage and won't be scanned for awhile. But this picture is nothing compared to them.  Just imagine.

This is a Maori carving that I snapped a quick picture of while in the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute.  The place is fabulous.  Not only does it have tons of arts and crafts, but it has a studio where people can watch the artists at work, and ask questions.
