For my 17th birthday on July 12, I had no idea I was gonna have a party. My mom bought a big chocolate chip cookie for my family, but I hadn't really planned to do anything with my friends for it. That night we were at my house eating cake, when Mikah called and said Anna Laura and Leigh Anne were at her house and they were about to come bring me birthday presents. About five minutes later Corbin suddenly says "Oh my gosh! I forgot to turn off my mom's roast!" So we rushed over to his house, and his parents were there, so we figured they turned off the roast and we didn't stop. Then Corbin said, "Well, while we're out, we'll just stop by Mikah's house and you can get your presents from them. When we pulled up, Corbin reved his engine like three or four times, and I was like "Why are you doing that? You're embarrassing me!" Mikah's Dad came out and told us the girls were out back. We walked outside and didn't see anybody, then all of a sudden like 20 people jumped up from behind the retaining wall and yelled "Surprise!" I couldn't believe that they had planned a surprise party for me. The guys all swam for a while while the girls talked, and later we all ended up inside having pool and ping-pong contests. Most of my best friends were there and it was so much of fun. |
