The Nephew of Papa John Priziola, Ricco was identified as a section leader in the Detroit Outfit during the Valachi hearings in 1963. Priziola's specialty was gambling and served as an aide in his uncle's operation which streched from Detroit to San Diego California. Amoung the other prominent family connections held by Ricco were Michael Santo Polizzi, Joseph and Frank Matranga, Peter Tocco and James Cammarata.
