I was born in the Dominican Republic, one the Caribbean's most beautiful countries. It is a great place to live and visit. I moved to the United States with my husband when he joined the Navy 23 years ago.
I hope you enjoy this page.

Here is another example of things getting sort
of carried away. We were at Universal Studios in Orlando and just could
not resist trying on some hats. I am wearing a Woody Woodpecker and She is
wearing an ET. |
Jenny was dresssed up like a sailor on
her going away party. Here she is with her Dad. |
This next picture
was on her "ship out" day. This was a sad day, but a
proud one. I said goodbye to Jenny as she was getting ready to
board her plane and follow her Dad's footsteps in the US Navy.
She knew from the time she was in kindergarten that she would
someday be a sailor. She will be a Hospital Corpsman once she
finishes her schools. |
Here I am with my
other daughter Rebecca and my sister Gloria. We had been playing
a game of UNO. I guess this game makes you
do some silly things. We had a great time! |

This is another part of the family. Here are my two brothers and my sister. We took this picture while I was visiting them in the Dominican Republic this past summer. The next picture is of us also, only a little bit more serious. One sad occurrence was that my Brother Luis (He's the one in the rear right on the bottom picture) passed away. Of one thing I am sure, he is with his Lord Jesus Christ now!

As I mentioned above Jenny was on her way to Navy Boot Camp. Well, she did make it and also made it through Hospital Corpsman School. Here are some pictures of us when we went up to Great Lakes Illinois to visit her for Boot Graduation.
![]() The one on the left
was taken outside Jennifer's barracks. the other one is on the shoreline
of Lake Michigan at the Naval Station. We went up to the Great Lakes Naval
Training Center for Jenny's Graduation from Boot Camp. |
As I mentioned I am from the Dominican Republic. Following there are some pictures taken while visiting the island while I was at a resort with my syster and her family.
Here we are at
the Barceló Bávaro Beach Casino and Resort. |
You cannot visit
the Dominican Republic and not Dance the Merengue which is the
country's national dance. Here we are dancing at the resor we had
visited. |
How about some
kayaking? |
Here we are in the car during
our visit to Great Lakes for Jenny's Graduation. Just look at
that handsome guy next to me! |
